Montipora digitata is a branching speices of Montipora, they come in a wide variety of colours and tend to be a little easier to keep than most other species of the genus. A healthy colony of Montipora digitata will have a thick coat of polyps and white new growth on the tips of the branches. The strain of Green Montipora Digitata we grow at New Dawn Aquaculture has bright neon green polyps with blue-gray skin.
These corals can take a little while to get established in your tank, but once they are settled in their growth will take off and they can become a large colony quickly. While they are not very aggressive towards their neighbours, it's still a good idea to give them plenty of space to grow.
