Continuum AquaBlade Algae Scraper

Continuum AquaBlade is an algae scraper for freshwater and saltwater aquariums. The handheld version gives close control, while the longer handles help reach deeper panels.

Choose your reach

Select Short, 15 Inch, 24 Inch or 35 Inch from the size options. Consider the distance to the area you need to clean and the clearance above your aquarium. Long AquaBlade handles use solid fiberglass moulded into the scraper head.

Match the blade to the aquarium

• Glass: use the 316 stainless-steel metal blade for stubborn algae, including coralline algae.
• Acrylic: use Continuum’s cyan plastic blade. Do not use a metal blade on acrylic. Inspect the blade for trapped sand or grit, and test an inconspicuous area first.

Replacement blades

AquaBlade stainless-steel replacement blades are available separately for glass cleaning. Continuum states that its AquaBlade blades and scraper bodies are compatible with previous AquaBlade versions.
