Kalkwasser is a highly effective method for maintaining calcium and alkalinity levels in reef aquariums. When dissolved in RODI water, it creates a saturated solution that delivers calcium and hydroxide ions, supporting coral growth and helping to stabilize pH by neutralizing excess CO₂.
Used most commonly through auto top-off systems, drip methods, or kalk reactors, kalkwasser offers a simple, reliable, and economical way to maintain consistent water chemistry in reef tanks. Its ability to raise pH and supplement key elements makes it ideal for systems with moderate to high coral demand.

DIRECTIONS
Preparation only. Start with 3 g per 3.785 L (≈1 US gal) of RO/DI water; never exceed 6 g per 3.785 L (≈1 US gal). Mix, cover and allow to settle for at least 60 minutes. Dose only the clear supernatant. Never add powder directly to an aquarium. Do not raise pH by more than 0.1 per hour or above pH 8.5, and do not exceed verified evaporation replacement.
WARNINGS
Causes serious eye damage and skin and respiratory irritation. Avoid breathing dust. Wear chemical-resistant gloves and eye/face protection. Keep dry.
For aquarium use only. Do not ingest. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Wash hands after handling. Keep out of reach of children.
MODE D’EMPLOI
Réservé à la préparation. Commencer avec 3 g par 3,785 L (≈1 gal US) d’eau osmosée/déionisée; ne jamais dépasser 6 g par 3,785 L (≈1 gal US). Mélanger, couvrir et laisser décanter au moins 60 minutes. Ajouter uniquement le liquide clair surnageant. Ne jamais ajouter la poudre directement à un aquarium. Ne pas augmenter le pH de plus de 0,1 par heure ni au-delà de 8,5, et ne pas dépasser le remplacement d’évaporation vérifié.

Contains calcium hydroxide. If swallowed, call a Poison Control Centre or doctor immediately. Do not induce vomiting. If in eyes, rinse with water for 15 minutes. If on skin, rinse well with water. If on clothes, remove clothes. If breathed in, move person to fresh air.
