Hydroshock Calcium is a calcium supplement enriched with carefully balanced trace elements, formulated to meet the exact needs of reef aquariums. It ensures robust coral skeletal growth by precisely replenishing calcium consumed during coral calcification. This formula incorporates essential trace elements such as strontium, potassium, iron, manganese, zinc, and vanadium, matching their natural ratios in coral skeletons. Regular use alongside Hydroshock Alkalinity and Magnesium supports vibrant coral coloration, optimal growth, and overall reef health without causing trace element imbalance.
Start dosing at 1 mL per 100 L daily, matching equally with Hydroshock Alkalinity and Magnesium.
Regularly measure alkalinity (dKH), calcium (Ca), and magnesium (Mg). Adjust all three components slowly and equally to maintain stable chemistry.
Make incremental dosing adjustments based on regular testing to maintain stable calcium and trace element levels.
If calcium significantly drifts, temporarily dose Hydroshock Calcium independently to restore balance before resuming standard 1 : 1 : 1 dosing.
Dose into areas of high water flow.

Parameter-first reef chemistry
Reef Charge product pages should communicate chemistry role before brand flourish. Keep concentration, use case, dosing logic, and cautions easy to scan so reefkeepers can act with confidence.
Make the parameter role and strength obvious first so the shopper understands what the product is actually correcting or maintaining.
Keep safe correction rhythm, tank volume context, and practical dosing logic easy to reach without slowing the sale.
Frame the product as one part of a broader reef chemistry routine that moves from adjustment into maintenance.
Use support content to clarify how trace, nutrient, and maintenance decisions relate instead of burying them in generic marketing copy.
Keep the workflow compact
Support Reef Charge products with calculator access, lineup context, and practical chemistry education that keeps decisions controlled.
Move from product fit into exact parameter math as soon as the shopper is ready for a real dosing answer.
Keep the wider lineup organized around correction, maintenance, trace support, and nutrient pathways.
Use education to reinforce safe pacing, compatibility, and routine-building after the immediate product decision.
