Introducing the ReefBreeders Meridian Series:

The Meridian is more than just a light. It is a complete lighting system designed for reliability, adaptability, and long-term performance. Every aspect has been engineered to provide optimal results while maintaining the flexibility needed for evolving reef setups.

At its core, the Meridian delivers a refined spectrum that includes 440nm indigo LEDs. This wavelength is rarely found in aquarium lighting, yet it plays a critical role in coral health. The Meridian provides an extended violet range from 400nm to 440nm, ensuring corals receive essential wavelengths that drive growth, coloration, and vitality.

The Meridian is one of the most modular and expandable lights available. It supports multiple units and Edge Bars on a single power supply, allowing for up to 600 watts of combined output while reducing outlet usage—maximizing efficiency without compromising performance.

Installation is designed for complete flexibility. The Meridian can be suspended, mounted to the back or sides of the tank, or integrated into a T-track system. The Integrated Connection System allows seamless linking, while Edge Articulating Mounts provide precision positioning.

Optics are a defining feature of the Meridian. The Ocular Holo Matrix (OHM) system offers three distinct spread patterns, with more in development. These interchangeable optics allow users to customize PAR, spread, and focus depending on tank depth and aquascape structure.

Control is intuitive and adaptive. The ReefBreeders app provides cloud-based WiFi access, Bluetooth enables direct local control, and an optional Manual Controller offers physical onboard adjustments. Users can set spectrum profiles, create sunrise–sunset transitions, and automate lighting cycles.

Built with long-term support in mind, the Meridian ensures continued parts availability and service. Whether upgrading or starting fresh, the Meridian 63 is engineered to meet the demands of advanced reef keepers.

Original LED Layout:

The original LED spectrum features a high white-to-blue ratio inspired by popular Photon presets. It offers a 20K blue appearance with all channels equal, and includes two extra 440nm indigo LEDs on a dedicated channel for a total of four (vs. two in the 14K layout).

14K LED Layout:

The 14K LED layout doubles the number of white LEDs to create a natural shallow-water reef appearance. Warm (3.5K) and neutral (5.5K) whites are separated for more precise tuning—warm whites increase warmth, cool whites boost crisp brightness.
