The Stratiform Spin Flow Nozzle helps make your return pump more useful. Instead of pushing water out in one narrow stream, the internal spin geometry helps roll the flow outward into a broader rotating pattern.

For coral, flow helps deliver oxygen and suspended food, carry away waste, and improve water exchange around tissue. The Spin Flow Nozzle softens harsh straight-line return flow and adds more usable movement without adding another pump to the display.

Installation

1. Turn off your return pump.
2. Remove the existing outlet nozzle.
3. Press the Spin Flow Nozzle onto the matching 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch modular hose end.
4. Angle the outlet where you want broader movement.
5. Restart the pump and adjust as needed.

Flow Placement Tips

• Aim across the tank rather than directly at coral tissue.
• Use upper placement for more surface movement and SPS flow.
• For LPS and soft corals, angle flow around colonies instead of directly into them.
• With dual returns, point each outlet slightly toward the opposite side so the patterns interact.
