Potassium 19+

Potassium19+ is a concentrated potassium supplement for measured correction in reef aquariums. Use it only when a current potassium result is below the selected target. A dose of 1 mL per 25 L (approximately 6.6 US gallons) raises potassium by approximately 3.79 ppm.

Instructions

Test potassium with a reliable reef test before dosing.

Calculate dose: Use actual aquarium water volume and the measured potassium deficit. Use the Reef Charge calculator, round the result down to the nearest 0.1 mL, and skip smaller doses.

Dose safely: Do not increase potassium by more than 20 ppm in 24 hours. Split larger corrections across separate days and re-test after 24 hours before repeating.

Compatibility: Account for potassium supplied by the salt mix and every other supplement before dosing.

Storage

• Store tightly sealed in a cool, shaded location (≤25 °C / 77 °F).
• Protect from direct light.
