Iodide53+

Iodide53+ is a concentrated iodide supplement for measured correction in reef aquariums. Use it only when a current reliable result confirms iodine or iodide is below the selected target. A concentration reference of 1 mL per 20 US gallons raises iodide by approximately 0.106 ppm and potassium by approximately 0.0326 ppm.

Instructions

Test iodine or iodide with a reliable test before dosing.

Calculate dose: Use actual aquarium water volume and the Reef Charge calculator. Because this is a concentrated formula, the calculated amount may be less than 1 mL.

Dose safely: Do not increase iodide by more than 0.05 ppm in 24 hours. Split larger corrections across separate days and re-test after 24 hours before repeating.

Compatibility: Never dose blindly. Do not stack with another iodine, iodide, or Lugol's product.
