Planktura Reef Pulse Live Mysid Shrimp

Active, cultured marine mysids for reef aquariums, refugia, and demanding planktivores. Their darting swimming motion encourages natural hunting behaviour and offers a larger live prey item than copepods.

Why add live mysids?

• Engaging live prey: well suited as a supplemental feed for seahorses, pipefish, and other planktivorous marine fish.
• Refugium biodiversity: introduce to a mature refugium with porous habitat and adequate food.
• Natural feeding behaviour: live movement can help stimulate selective feeders.

How to use

1. Float the sealed bottle for 10-15 minutes to equalize temperature.
2. Gradually acclimate the culture to the aquarium's salinity.
3. After lights out, briefly reduce mechanical filtration and release into rockwork or a refugium.

Care before use

Keep at a stable room temperature, away from direct sunlight, and provide gentle aeration. Use promptly after receipt. Live organism size and density vary naturally between cultures.
